JOB DESCRIPTION

Title: Order Picking Specialist
Reports to: Warehouse Manager

 

POSITION OBJECTIVE

Using RF equipment, rapidly and accurately pick orders/shipments to allow for prompt fulfillment to meet daily processing targets, Customer demands and company sales goals.

 

DUTIES

  • Pick and stage shipments accurately and promptly for Customers allocated
  • Route LTL shipments for key Customers when assigned
  • Clean and maintain area assigned on a daily basis
  • Label staging locations as procedurally determined by management
  • Communicate well with colleagues across departments, maintain frequent communications with all involved parties
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts, using proper computer and equipment record-keeping
  • Complete assignments in time allotted
  • Maintain a clean and organized work space
  • Operate forklift to pull large volume and palletized products
  • Support general warehouse operations, receiving, and shipping as needed
  • Support fan conventions and trade shows as assigned and available
  • Attend regular meetings, report on progress, identify problems, and recommend solutions
  • Provide regular reporting to management
  • Keep a positive, motivated attitude towards work and tasks assigned
  • Follow established protocols, maintaining a safety first mentality
  • Other requests as specified from time to time

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS

  • Minimum 3 years distribution or warehouse operations experience
  • Forklift operation skills preferred
  • Familiarity with and understanding of Japan pop culture titles and products
